Special solution for Natural History Museum in St. Gallen

|News

Krapf AG has developed a special solution for Zurich-based architects Armon Semadeni: giant parallel opening windows for the Natural History Museum.

When architects look for new aesthetic and functional expressions, innovative solutions are required, as well as reliable partners. Krapf AG gladly accepts challenges and is dedicated to mastering them.

The window elements, which weigh almost two tons, are burglar-proof and suitable for smoke and heat ventilation. The design centres on motorised, parallel hinge technology. External shading and internal black-out are integrated into the element.
