Krapf AG built the façade of the first unit for Empa NEST. Meet2Create from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts brings together three research projects and various façade types.

Krapf AG installed transom-mullion façades in wood-aluminium and steel-aluminium, as well as floor-to-ceiling aluminium windows. We also clad the opaque façades with ventilated metal panels.

The glazing is equipped with electrochromic glass for adaptive tests: SageGlass allows controllable thermal and visual comfort with reduced energy consumption. Daylight and sunlight can be adjusted according to individual needs.
