Since 1964, Krapf AG has been a byword for competence and quality in metal and façade engineering.
Comprising over 80 employees, our team is passionate about developing complete glass and metal solutions for projects in Switzerland and around the world. We are proud of Krapf AG’s 50-year history and we will continue to create sustainable solutions which are architecturally, technically and functionally sound, both now and in the future.
Milestones
1994: The company moves into the new building in Engelburg, handover to Heinz Sauter
1997: ISO certification ISO standard 9001
2004: Krapf AG develops the air-lux sliding window system (Waldheimstrasse in Zug)
2008: IFT Rosenheim certification, break-in resistance class WK2/WK3
2010: Received patent for air-lux High-rise façade for FHS St. Gallen
2011: Minergie module for air-lux sliding windows and tilt and turn windows
2012: Krapf AG has 80 employees Launch of air-lux connect, fusion of aluminium with wood or bronze
2013: High-rise façade B125 (Baarerstrasse, Zug)
2014: Two high-rise façades (One-One, Cham) Company anniversary, 50 years of Krapf AG
